Wheelthrowing taster session

Suitable for both beginners and intermediate throwers - whether you're interested in pursuing ceramics as a new venture or simply keen to try a new skill, this 2.5 hour session will be focused on getting you where you want to be.
Available either as a one-to-one or a pairs session if you’d prefer to share the Experience with a Friend or partner.
As a beginner, the session will completely cover the basics of preparing your materials and learning to throw various forms on the wheel. We'll work together to ensure you have a full understanding of the mechanics of throwing and leave feeling fully comfortable to throw independently.
If you're already familiar with working on the wheel but perhaps would like to focus on developing your abilities, we'll work on your production consistency, throwing larger forms with confidence and building more challenging pieces.
pairs sessions will share the wheel and we’ll work on taking turns to both throw and observe ensuring maximum time with the clay for both of you.
Having thrown clay professionally for almost a decade, I'm confident I can guide you to the best of your abilities whilst sharing some hard won tips and tricks along the way.
All materials and a standard high gloss transparent glaze are included.
Work will be finessed and fired in the days following your session and available for collection/delivery within 2 weeks.
