Founded in 2015, Grey Suit Clay is the Sheffield based small batch ceramics studio of artist & maker Francesca Hague.

Our focus at Grey Suit Clay is to produce unique, carefully made pieces that are designed to be well used and well loved. From everyday pieces for the home to small batch manufacture, we practice a combination of wheelthrown and slip casting techniques to create and finish each piece by hand in our Sheffield studio.

As well as producing tableware for restaurants, coffee shops and bars, our work has been featured in Elle Decor, and our designs have been used on the BBCs ‘Great British Menu’.

Our own studio collection of home and tableware is available through quarterly restocks of our online shop and to order through private commission.
